I don’t have a penchant for pets but following a relentless insistence of my mother who is a huge dog-lover we decided to buy one ‘pug’ with the old Hutch ad as the major source of inspiration. On a murky Saturday we went to a pet shop and bought a pug with brown and black stripes. Surprise Surprise!! it was a talking pug (I have heard that only parrots can talk)!!We named him Tommy but he was dismayed at the name and shouted, “Tommy kutte ka naam lagta hai. Do I look like a dog.” We shook our heads reluctantly and Mom lovingly named him, “BacchuLal”. (Bacchu-The pet name of maybe lakhs of children all around the world).
After the turn of events of Last Sunday, Bachhu Lal (BL, my intelligent Dog) decided to take a break from the hubbub of everyday life. As living up to the billing of the current generation he had developed an uncanny knack for electronic devices. So an additional task got added to my daily routine (woes). ‘Switching on the TV’ for BL. (I had informally became his slave!!). This Sunday he was even more excited. “Hey Professionally Dumb as well as Dumped (PD) . Do you know that guy Karnab Noswami. The man who doesn’t let others speak. When all my friends discuss about him I feel left out. You are the culprit. There is a world other than the world of sports”, he lambasted me.
Now a days I am extremely busy. So wats great about it? I want to tell you something unknown to you. Ie I am manufacturing lot of products. I am doing great business .
" So wats new about it? There are many like you."
“Thank you for the farewell party and the lovely gift.” Tanmay lied. He was not keen on the farewell as it intruded in his planned sentimental good byes to his parents and sister. The gift was a flowery orange tie, which he suspected Vinay of having bought as a gaffe.
A few staff and no work on rainy day in office .
So Veer Mahajan had story to tell...
